If you can get used to the difference in aspect ratios this tablet isn't that bad, but until that point it will feel very counterintuitive.

However, since the pen is very smooth is does have a tendency to slip sometimes. So you might want to use it in combination with a tablet glove.

Osu tablet Vs Mouse
Switching from a mouse to a tablet won't double your score or accuracy overnight. However, not using a tablet can definitely hinder your improvement.
The main reason why people use drawing tablets for Osu is what's called "absolute tracking". This means that every point on the tablet corresponds directly to a point on your screen. For example, by touching the bottom left corner of your tablet the mouse cursor will also move to the bottom left corner of your screen. As a result you can quickly and accurately move from one side of the screen to the opposite side.
In contrast, a computer mouse uses "relative tracking". This means that depending on your mouse's sensitivity settings moving the mouse a certain distance might move the cursor either a little or a lot on the screen. As a result, it's pretty difficult to quickly move the cursors across the screen without losing accuracy.
Another reason why people like to use a tablet is that moving a pen over a tablet lets you make smoother motions compared to a computer mouse.
What to look for in a drawing tablet for Osu?

As a digital artist you always want to get a drawing tablet with the biggest active area that your budget allows for. However, as an Osu player this is not necessarily the case.
